The Calibre 360 Chronograph concept wristwatch was introduced by TAG Heuer at the Baselworld 2005 show. It was described as the world's most accurate wrist chronograph - measuring and displaying in 1/100th of a second divisions. That's 10 times faster than the previous best for a mechanical chronograph.
The Calibre 360 is capable of this impressive accuracy because the chronograph is not simply a "module" added on to the main watch. It is an entirely separate movement with a high frequency balance wheel operating at 360,000 beats per hour.
The 2005 Calibre 360 formed the basis of the limited edition Carrera Calibre 360 Rose Gold.
In February 2006, TAG Heuer received the prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award for the Calibre 360.
